Crafted with precision and durability in mind, Souber Tools' new 25mm Cutter is tailor-made for the demanding task of morticing steel doors with thin sheet skins 1.5mm to 2.5mm thick, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Designed to fit in the Souber Morticer, the 25mm Cutter allows you to create a series of 25mm holes in a link or chain, forming a precise slot.

You clamp the Morticer jig to the door, push both clamps together to prevent any possible up or down free movement and then plunge onto the door surface to make an initial hole. You then repeat the process again and again until a slot is created.

At the end, you “clean up” the slot with a suitable power tool and cut the corner to suit the lock faceplate.
