For all Hyundai and KIA vehicles, produced before 09.2007 the PIN code can be retrieved by using the "PIN by VIN" special function.
For cars after 09.2007 the pin code can be automatically extracted. The automatic extraction works for vehicles, which are equipped with the following Engine Control Units:
- Kefico (Benzin vehicles) with processor ST10F275.
- EDC16C39 (Diesel vehicles).
- EDC15C2 (Diesel vehicles).

- PIN by VIN calculator for vehicles up to year 09.2007
All Hyundai and KIA vehicles, produced before 09.2007 are equipped with a SMARTRA-2 Immobilizer system. All the newer vehicles are equipped with a SMARTRA-3 Immo system.
For all Hyundai and KIA vehicles, produced before 09.2007 the PIN code can be retrieved by using the "PIN by VIN" special function. You just need to enter the last 6 digits from the chassis number of the car and the software will calculate and show you the PIN.
For cars after 09.2007 the pin code can be automatically extracted. The automatic extraction works for vehicles, which are equipped with the following Engine Control Units:
- Kefico (Benzin vehicles) with processor ST10F275.
- EDC16C39 (Diesel vehicles).
- EDC15C2 (Diesel vehicles).
